The Porsche 911 Carrera T, an enthusiast favorite focused on driving purity, lightweight construction and manual transmission, returns for 2025 as both a coupe and convertible. This marks the first time the back-to-basics 911 variant has been offered as a Cabriolet model.
Harkening back to the original 911 T introduced in 1968, the latest iteration stays true to the model’s philosophy of less weight and maximum engagement. The 3.0-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine, producing 388 hp, is paired solely with a six-speed manual transmission—now with a signature walnut shift knob. Acceleration and handling are further enhanced by a 10mm lower sport suspension, torque vectoring system, and standard PASM adaptive dampers.
New for 2025 is an available exterior package with Gentian Blue accents, offering a distinctive look. Inside, the Carrera T features lightweight glass, reduced sound insulation and standard carbon fiber bucket seats to pare down the curb weight. Vanadium Grey and black anodized aluminum trim pay homage to the original 911 T models.
With a base sticker of $134,000 for the coupe and $147,300 for the convertible, the 2025 Carrera T continues the tradition of the focused 911 variant. Blending power and poise with lightness and engagement, it epitomizes the essence of the rear-engine sports car. For over 50 years, the 911 T has stood for Porsche purism. The new models ensure this legacy carries on into the future.
