After over 20 years perfecting this high complication, Roger Dubuis is unveiling its latest feat of technical artistry—the Excalibur Double Tourbillon Cobalt Chrome.

Only 28 of these exclusive timepieces will be produced, each showcasing Roger Dubuis’ signature blend of cutting-edge substance and sophisticated style. The 45-mm Excalibur case is crafted entirely from Cobalt Chrome, an extremely durable alloy more commonly seen in the automotive and aerospace industries where strength and corrosion resistance are paramount. Its bright silvery sheen gives the metal a distinctive, eye-catching luster.

Within the cobalt chrome case lies the manual-winding RD108SQ calibre and its mesmerizing double tourbillon architecture. Two flying tourbillons whirl in a delicate balance, connected by a regulating differential that mitigates the effects of gravity on the movement. Decorated with 17 types of delicate hand-finishing and built from 319 individual components, the openworked calibre is a marvel of craftsmanship.

To complement the technical achievement, Roger Dubuis bathes the bridges and plates in a vivid blue. Inspired by the natural blue pigment of cobalt, this energetic hue references the material’s historic use in ancient jewelry and paints. The blue theme continues onto the quick-release calfskin strap, seamlessly uniting case and wearer.
