A new melody echoes through the sylvan hills of Hidden Hills, an enclave veiled in idyllic secrecy, as music icon John Fogerty acquires a ranch estate from silver screen titan Sylvester Stallone. Though Fogerty, known for Creedence Clearwater Revival’s swampy rock classics, paid $17.2 million for the keys, a discount from Stallone’s lofty $22.5 million asking price, the 2.2-acre property remains a sanctuary fitting for legends. Stallone paid $18.2 million for the property last year.

Nestled on a cloistered lane secured by iron gates, the estate exudes privacy and grandeur behind a curtain of stately trees. Within the grounds, equestrian splendor abounds in the form of stables, riding arena, and gardens where foliage bursts with botanical abundance. The interiors reflect flair for worldly opulence and rural charm. There are five bedrooms and seven baths. Vaulted ceilings grant airy grandeur to rustic living spaces warmed by stone and timber, while the chandeliered dining hall evokes aristocratic airs. The palatial master suite provides a spa-like retreat, complete with steam shower and soaking tub overlooking graceful gardens.

Now Fogerty, whose hits have soundtracked Americana dreams for decades, can compose new works surrounded by pastoral inspiration. Though the ranch estate’s ownership may change hands, its heritage as a refuge for legends remains unbroken, safe behind iron gates guarding Hollywood’s most coveted rural idyll.
