Esteemed Italian motorcycle builder Ducati announced a new limited-edition Monster-series model this summer. The company calls the bike the 2024 Monster 30º Anniversario, and it conjures Ducati’s distant past as it packs in the tech.
Representing a bit of a departure from the Monster line’s more recent addition, the 2023 Monster SP, the 30º Anniversario features a special tricolor livery and embroidered seat. Its componentry includes carbon fiber mudguards, a suspension, adjustable steering damper and NIX30 fork from Öhlins, and a Termignoni silencer.
The bike is powered by a 4-valve twin-cylinder engine with desmondromic timing that produces 111 horsepower and up to 69 pound-feet of torque. The power is especially potent given the weight of the model. Ducati states it’s the lightest Monster yet. With a starting price of $18,595, it’s also the most expensive.
Ducati loaded the 30º Anniversario with performance-oriented standard features. The list includes Ducati Traction Control and Wheelie Control, ABS Cornering, and a 4.3-inch color TFT dash. The bike’s available drive modes include Sport, Wet, and Road options.
Ducati will produce 500 examples of the Monster 30º Anniversario.
