This summer, gilded accessory specialist Caviar has a new product to allure the eye of the seasoned dealmaker.
The company returned to its comfort zone, the smartphone, for its newest bit ’o bling. The techy fundamentals of the essential communications device have on this occasion been given teeth. Or, at least in one case, a tooth. Caviar calls the series ‘Business Sharks’.
The company’s previous phone-enhancing incarnations have drifted from cult of personality appeal to the flat-out greed-arousing. The most recent item we looked at was the Rolex-packing iPhone 14 of late last year — a comprehensive, if somewhat clumsy, addition to its glittering oeuvre. The ‘Business Sharks’ series represents a return to form.
The firm has generally worked with Apple products. However, in this case, a Samsung Galaxy Z-Fold 5 is the foundation. Caviar breaks down the ‘Business Sharks’ Galaxy Z-Fold 5 lineup into three models, with the top of the heap called the Megalodon. The aforementioned resident tooth — well, a tooth fragment, forsooth — has as its donor the sharkish progenitor: a massive, beastly bundle of pure primeval instinct which has thankfully passed into the pages of marine history.
The great white shark adorns two others models in the series. In keeping with the rather sledgehammer style and titling favored by the company, the models are called ‘Big Boss’ and ‘Predator’.
Harold Shand has preordered his. Have you yours?
