The newest Brabus ‘Masterpiece’ package puts the German tuner’s uniquely luxurious, sporty stamp on the Mercedes-AMG EQS 53.
The new package follows the Aero kit for the EQS which Brabus announced last summer, and indeed aero componentry is a key element of the custom tailoring designed for the 53. Brabus began its approach to the fully electric performance sedan with a host of carbon fiber parts that put a sleek, honed edge on the model; individual bits include skirt attachments, air deflectors, rear diffuser and rear spoiler. The tuning specialist also adjusted the 53’s fascia with a host of carbon add-ons that include intake surrounds and a spoiler.
The Brabus EQS 53 rides on twenty-two-inch Monoblock F wheels finished in a tone the company calls ‘Black Platinum’; adding the SportXtra suspension module brings adjustable ride height to the equation. New scuff plates, aluminum sport pedal pads, and interiors swathed in a combination of leather (tanned with an eye toward ecological responsibility) and vegan cloth also mark the Brabus EQS 53.
The EQS 53 kit leaves the ample AMG power provided by the two special electric motors without adjustment. With up to 761 horsepower and 752 pound-feet of torque at peak, the Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 emerges from the factory quite capable.
The vehicle is priced around $275,000.
