Mercedes-Benz announced pricing and package options for the 2023 EQE SUV recently. The news comes only weeks ahead of the arrival of the model in U.S. dealerships.

Mercedes is quick to point out the Alabama origination of U.S. examples of the EQE SUV — they’ve included the information in the title of the press release — and the domestic build site should burnish the Euro flash with a little homegrown appeal. But the EQE SUV is itself a forceful market presence, having been beautifully engineered as a hit record and unveiled in a slow strip-tease of media reveals that have kept it in the public eye nearly constantly since the fall.

The SUV is remarkably versatile on and off the sales floor. The model starts at $77,900, which nets a buyer an EQE 350+ or 350 4MATIC with Premium trim level: MBUX with Electric Intelligence Navigation, Parking Package with Surround View, Sliding Panorama Roof, and Burmester Sound System top the list. Stepping up to the 500 4MATIC brings the price up to $89,500, but includes sporty AMG Line cosmetics, 20-inch wheels, and leather upholstery.

At the top of the heap is the Pinnacle Trim. Electing this level with the 350+ or 350 4MATIC brings the base sticker to $83,850, but adds Four-Zone Climate, Energizing Comfort, the DIGITAL LIGHT package, front door emblem projectors, and 100W USB-C. The EQE500 4MATIC is the final word, and begins at $95,450.

All prices exclude $1,150 destination fee.
