The last time we heard from actress Mindy Kaling, she’d closed on a Malibu property that once served as a retreat for Frank Sinatra. Before that, she’d shucked a couple of charming little homes in the Los Angeles area, including a Hollywood Hills haunt and a Beverly Grove abode.
Kaling’s most recent real estate adventure takes her to the East Coast. The property in question is a condo located in downtown Manhattan which Kaling has owned, according to public records, since 2017. This month she put the residence up for sale with an asking price of $2.75 million.
Situated in a 2005-built condo wedged against the easterly border of the Soho neighborhood, the L-shaped unit is positioned within walking distance of Nolita and Tribeca. A 2-and-2 flat, its interiors measure in at 1,166 sq. ft. Its layout progression moves from primary bedroom to en-suite bath to kitchen and living area, and it features 10-foot ceilings.
Views from the residence take in the Williamsburg Bridge and Petrosino Square.
