The newest watch from Richard Mille, the RM 38-02 Tourbillon Bubba Watson, is as technical a horological adventure as you’d expect from the esteemed younger Swiss firm.
The timepiece is the latest in a series of watches to arise from the collaboration between Richard Mille and golf pro Bubba Watson. It features a bright tonal scheme with pink as a foundational color, as well as a super lightweight build by virtue of RM material favorite Carbon TPT, a layered carbon fiber, as well as titanium.
The watch is outfitted with RM’s house-designed Calibre RM 38-02, a manual-wind movement. Its skeletonized design allows full appreciation of the involute mechanical complexities of the timepiece, with sapphire crystal providing the view. The watch has a power reserve of 70 hours.
Richard Mille will produce the RM38-02 Tourbillon Bubba Watson in a run of just 50 examples. The price tag reads 900,000 Swiss Francs, which translates to about $921,000.
