Brabus is thinking spring these days, and when an automotive tuner thinks spring a soft-top must be involved. In this case it’s the Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet; the coupe of course is covered as well.

Brabus approached the 911 Turbo S on a power-first basis — exterior alterations are fairly understated for a Brabus treatment — and to that end call it the PowerXtra P38S-820. The company’s PowerXtra control module is of course at the bottom of the powertrain boost; joined with the company’s bigger turbochargers, the model’s output is bumped by nearly 200 horsepower. The modified 911 Turbo S Cabriolet can pump out — you guessed it — 820 horsepower.

Brabus’ Inconel exhaust opens up airflow, helping the PowerXtra P38S-820 to achieve its impressive numbers. For ‘auditory cosmetics’ Brabus has added sound-enhancement as well, matching the sounds with a bit of cabin flash: quilted leather upholstery and a red-on-black color scheme.

A second upgrade package is also available. The PowerXtra PS38S-720 option focuses on updating the ECU only, resulting in a nice boost of 80 horses over the vehicles stock 640.
