Last summer, soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo offered a peek at his birthday gift, a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen that had been given a going-over by German tuner and Merc specialist Brabus. As a recent four-wheeled acquisition, the decked-out G-Class is perhaps only bested by the Bugatti Centodieci that the footballer reportedly picked up the summer before.
Before both, of course, there was Ronaldo’s Bugatti Chiron. If any of those vehicles allow the pro athlete to arrive earlier than expected — the 4WD boasts terrain versatility, the French exotics pack W16 engines — his new custom Jacob & Co. watch will tell him how much time he’s saved.
The watch uses the Jacob & Co. Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon Baguette as a foundation. It’s a dazzling piece of kit, with 232 white baguette diamonds giving it sparkle. By way of contrast, it is also decorated with 109 black sapphires. It’s a CR7 watch, natch, born out of the extended collaboration between Ronaldo and the watchmaker. And it features the W16-inspired tourbillon, as expected; its design inspiration was Ronaldo’s Chiron.
