Pro baseball player Cody Bellinger both pitched a sale and rounded for home in the past few months. The MLB outfielder and Dodgers’ first baseman set his sights on a Scottsdale home late last year, and closed on it in December for $4.25 million. A listing for his existing residence in the Grand Canyon State followed in short order; in the middle of February, the suburban mixed architectural in Chandler went up for sale at $3.999 million and was gone again within weeks. The final sale price was $3.525 million.
The Scottsdale property offers four bedrooms across 5,679 sq. ft. of interiors as well as an airpark lifestyle. The home in Chandler is located in an appealing suburban area and features a towering covered double-door entry, a transitional living area with a fireplace and kitchen out back, and interiors that blend details as diverse as barn doors, a hardwood coffered ceiling, tile in various patterns, modern lines, backlit built-ins, and floors that mix stone tile and plank.
Pocketing glass opens the back of the home to the backyard living area from at least three rooms. A pool with water jets and a companion spa dominates the outdoor R&R HQ.
