HYT, a familiar name in the world of horology, staged a brand resurgence to lead off 2022. The company’s ticket back into the high-performance timepiece marketplace is the black-and-green watch you see below. HYT calls it the Hastroid Green Nebula, and it’s a limited-edition item that ushers HYT into the public eye once again.

The Hastroid Green Nebula’s otherworldly looks are partly the realm of the ‘Meca-Fluidic Technology’ that is the basis of the numerical indicators. The fluid design is matched by HYT’s self-mythologizing, which places the watch in an imaginative sci-fi landscape.

The Hastroid Green Nebula is 17.2mm thick, and its titanium-and-carbon case can withstand water immersion to a depth of 50 meters. A sapphire crystal offers a glimpse into the watch’s mechanics, the caliber 501-CM.

The limited-edition Hastroid Green Nebula will be produced in a run of 27 examples, and priced at 70,000 Swiss Francs, or about $76,000.
