‘Fast & Furious’ Director Justin Lin Seeking $7M for Industrial-Style Penthouse in L.A.

Film director Justin Lin is the seller of a lofty Los Angeles expression of repurposed-as-luxury industrialism. The Fast and Furious and True Detective alum—he’s directed three films in the former series and the first two episodes of the second season of the latter—is asking $7.5 million for the mixed-use penthouse property, which crowns the National Biscuit Company building.

With only two bedrooms across 4,300 sq. ft. of interior living space, the residence feels very much like the pad of a successful artist. The blue ribbon goes to the living area, which breaks into a multi-level space accessible by way of open staircases. Brick walls and maple plank warm up the ex-factory feel of the place.

The interiors are about half of the story of this home, however; the terraces and rooftop decks add a further 3,600 sq. ft. to the total.

Lin’s slated to direct and produce the final chapter of the Fast & Furious saga, a two-part film; Fast & Furious 10 Part 1 and Fast & Furious 10 Part 2 will be released in 2023 and 2024, respectively.
