Maserati’s history as a racecar designer received some attention from the brand this year in the form of special-edition Ghibli and Levante models. The F Tributo Special Edition variants of the popular sedan and SUV will be produced in a production run of 375 examples.
The F Tributo designation is also homage to a driver: legendary Maserati wheel man Juan Manuel Fangio, who represented the Italian automaker very well in the 1950s, bringing home many victories including the Formula 1 World Championship honors for 1957.
The colors used to express these special edition vehicles are Azzurro Tributo and Rosso Tributo, the blue and red that signify Maserati’s home town of Modena and the traditionally dominant color of Maserati’s racing livery, respectively. The yellow of the calipers also signifies the city of Modena. Accent colors inside reprise the exterior scheme.
Striking 21-inch wheels grace both the F Tributo Ghibli Special Edition and the F Tributo Levante Special Edition, and of course badging unique to these variants is prominently displayed both inside and outside the vehicles.
Pricing for the F Tributo Special Edition duo begins at $98,890, exclusive of taxes and delivery.
