The Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Freeman House, a Los Angeles celebrity in its own right, has seen a sizable price chop — about 25% — since it most recently appeared on the open market. The property, which is currently owned by the University of Southern California, popped up for sale in July with a $4.25 million ask. It is now priced at $3.25 million.

Though less famous than its cousin, the Ennis House — locally known as the ‘Blade Runner House’ for its appearance as a location in the seminal and cerebral sci-fi mood piece — the Freeman House is similarly distinguished by its Mayan Revival architecture and associated material: the singular textile blocks that distinguish it visually. The 2,884 sq. ft. home contains three bedrooms and one bath.

Earlier in the year, USC listed another of its residential properties for sale: the University’s presidential home, which is known as the Seeley Mudd estate. Billionaire investor Tianqiao Chen was the buyer; he paid $25 million for the 1934-built house and its 7.19 acres of grounds in San Marino. The 14,000 sq. ft. Colonial had been the USC President’s residence since 1979.
