A few months ago, Creedence Clearwater Revival co-founder and front man John Fogerty listed his property in Encino on the open market. The guitarist and singer-songwriter didn’t get his $9 million asking price, but he did get $7.975 million when all was said and done.

The 2016-built home contains six bedrooms and eight bathrooms in its 9,000 sq. ft. Its living style is contemporary, and its interiors are packed with details that suggest the prevailing tastes of the latter half of the last decade: wide-plank pale-toned hardwood—herringbone can be spotted—and plank wall accents, rusticated masonry, dramatic toning, anemone-like pendant fixtures.

Motorized glass doors open the shared spaces to the outdoor living area, with a transition room that can be converted into an open-air pavilion. Other amenities include a wet bar and lounge, a home theater, and an outdoor living area with pool, spa, kitchen, and water features.

Fogerty scored two chart-topping albums with Creedence Clearwater Revival, and added another during his solo career. His most recent studio release is last year’s Fogerty’s Factory.
