The Rocky Mountain retreat of comedian and father of seminal 1990s TV characterization Jerry Seinfeld appeared on the open market early this spring. The Telluride, Colorado, ranch is priced at $14.95 million. Seinfeld purchased the place in the spring of 2007, and first listed it for $18.25 million in 2011.

The massive home was built in the early 1990s. It was renovated by its current owner before its brief 2011 listing; according to listing materials it was also expanded at some point. It features farmhouse and lodge architecture, and contains 11 bedrooms at least 12 baths in its 12,260 sq. ft. of interior living area.

The home’s interiors include a few stunning living spaces, including a glass-and-pine great room with a soaring barrel ceiling, a stone and timber fireplace accent wall, and a second-floor overlook. Other knockouts include a library with built-in bookshelves and plank walls, the rustic kitchen and dayroom, and the bedrooms, which by turns boast cathedral ceilings, fireplaces, ornamental windows, and clerestories. Views of the Wilson Range are on display frequently.

The 26.84 acres of grounds feature hiking trails, a creek, and plentiful spruce and aspen-populated forest.

The Wall Street Journal reported that a second Telluride property owned by the comedian and his wife, Jessica, is for sale. It is the larger home’s companion—a four-bedroom on 17 acres—and it is priced at $2.78 million.

Seinfeld’s eponymous television sitcom is one of the most popular of all time; the series finale aired in 1998 and attracted over 76 million viewers. His latest comedy special, 23 Hours to Kill, was released last year on Netflix. Incidentally, Netflix is paying distributor Sony north of $500 million in a deal that allows it to stream Seinfeld for five years.

Seinfeld’s net worth is reportedly in the neighborhood of $1 billion.
