This year the Kardashian/Jenner mob swept into Lake Tahoe for an early holiday foray. The group settled down into a 17-bedroom cabin in a particularly sylvan corner of the resort area: a 15-acre slice of picturesque Western U.S. wilderness.
The family rented a 15-acre property, with Kardashians Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney along for the ride, along with Jenners Kylie, Kendall, and Kris. The retreat is titled Gunbarrel Lodge, and it’s perched on an alpine outcropping in a coniferous fairy-tale landscape. It contains 17 bedrooms and 18 baths in its 17,000 sq. ft. of interiors, sports abundant stone and timber in its build, and features such amenities as an indoor pool, a bar, a large deck with a spa, and a theater room that seats 24.
No surprise that a group of television production staff members were along for the ride; Keeping Up with the Kardashians is in its 20th season, and off-the-beaten-Los-Angeles-path hijinks like a holiday jaunt to one of the more esteemed winter vacation spots West of the Mississippi make excellent fodder for the show.
The group took various snapshots for Instagram publication as well, showing the family having a ball in the snow and engaging in various frosty recreational pastimes—decked out, of course, in some very flashy threads indeed, and sporting glamorous poses various and sundry.
For those wondering, keeping up with the Kardashians runs, in this case, around $7,000/night.
