This penthouse in South Florida belongs to producer Jerry Bruckheimer, but he’d like to sell it to you. The franchise film kingpin listed the property this week for $16.5 million.

The 1998-built mid-rise duplex condo—which appears to be a combination unit—overlooks both Miami Beach’s downtown and the long stretch of sand and water that attracts tourists from around the world. It contains three bedrooms and four baths in its 5,820 sq. ft. of living space.

The interiors are stylized, riffing on 1920s deco visuals that have been updated for this century with backlighting and industrial design elements. The home’s two staircases are opportunities for considerable expression; a steel spiral adds a sculptural touch, while a built-in unit features a slick black-on-white scheme. The rounded drape partition and kitchen counters add a little streamline to the mix.

Indoor amenities include a wet bar, but the property features an expansive rooftop terrace complex that is the highlight of the living style. The outdoor space adds 8,000 sq. ft. to the overall living area, and a plunge pool, sun deck and BBQ station to the amenities list.

Bruckheimer’s film credits include Top Gun, Con Air, Armageddon, Pearl Harbor, and Pirates of the Caribbean. His television credits include CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: Miami, CSI: NY, and CSI: Cyber. And, he’s still got the golden touch: Bad Boys for Life, released earlier this year, grossed over $400 million. His upcoming projects include Top Gun: Maverick, starring Tom Cruise.
