Cindy Margolis recently purchased a home in the Los Angeles area for $1.887 million.
The Spanish-inflected Sherman Oaks home dates to 1940. It has a few surprises up its sleeve that begin with a Gothic-style front door and a stacked-stone fireplace that adds complexity to the foyer, and extending to a rooftop deck.
Other details that emerge as the home progresses: a spiral staircase, wrought iron balustrades which appear to be original, and a few curvaceous ceiling lines for a touch of the sculptural. Bright colors that pop up from time to time, although most of the common areas are given a warm-neutral treatment.
The five bedrooms in the home are en-suite, and include a master with a pink dressing room and closet. Other amenities include a theater, a wine cellar, and a backyard with a spa.
Margolis was the “most downloaded person” in 1999, according to the Guiness Book of World Records. Her acting credits include Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery.
