Trump’s helicopter is on the used market. The aircraft’s celebrity associations are generating a whirlwind of media coverage, but it’s ultimately an air traveler who appreciates its gold-accented interior who will sign a check for it.
The 1989 Sikorsky S-76B has logged 6,260 hours of flight time. It is being offered for sale at an undisclosed price. The sale is being brokered by Jet Edge Partners and Aero Asset. The helicopter is currently in Trenton.
The helicopter’s interior features six seats, leather upholstery, and gold seatbelts; a pair of reclining captain’s chairs and a four-person divan with a worktable comprise the seating. Gold accents and fittings, and hardwood trim, augment the cabin’s cosmetics. The cabin is soundproofed, and contains an African mahogany credenza, a quartet of refreshment refrigeration and ice drawers, and a bar.
