Comedy phenom Jeff Foxworthy listed his home in his native Georgia this fall. The multi-platinum-selling comedian had the estate near the Chattahoochee custom-built about two decades ago. It is priced at $2.999 million.
The property begins with a long, gated drive that culminates in a porte-cochere in front and a motor court in back. Extensive covered porch space, stone accents and steps, and a grand, double-door entry comprise the prologue to the living style.
The home’s interior living spaces span nearly 15,000 sq. ft. It contains five bedrooms and at least six baths. Highlights of the home include a semi-solarium lounge capped with skylights, a great room with a soaring ceiling and a brick fireplace, and the brick-lined bar that stands between kitchen and dining room.
Amenities include a downstairs entertainment and games room—the space features a large stone fireplace with a raised hearth and an auxiliary kitchen—an office, and a resort-like backyard with a waterfall, a swimming pool, and a cabana with a summer kitchen and a bath.
In addition to releasing several gold- and platinum-certified comedy albums, Foxworthy also hosted quiz show Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?
