Elsa Hosk Asking $3.5M for Manhattan Loft

If you’re looking for a Manhattan pied-a-terre, and you appreciate the loft style, Swedish model Elsa Hosk has an apartment to sell you. She’s owned the charming little co-op corner of SoHo for about six years, and listed it this month for $3.5 million.

The residence ticks off many boxes on the checklist of the typical devotee of the style. An open concept living space, exposed brick and—judicious—plumbing, soaring ceilings, eccentric built-ins, and oversize windows are all featured here.

A marvelous glass pane partition separating the master bedroom from the common area is a romantic touch, and a floating staircase with a bar balustrade adds a little modernity. Concessions to the contemporary include a natural-tone refinish of the plank hardwood floors, and kitchen and bath revisions.

An unpretentious and classical downtown Manhattan unit.

Hosk began modeling at 14. Following high school graduation, she decided to play basketball professionally in the Swedish women’s basketball league. After playing for two years, she started receiving many job offers and moved to New York to become a full-time model.
