Iliza Shlesinger Picks Up Chic Hollywood Hills Aerie for $4.3M

Quick-thinking comic Iliza Shlesinger is currently settling into this heavily renovated hilltop home in Los Angeles. The TV host paid $4.25 million for the 3,680 sq. ft. house in Laurel Canyon.

From the street, the 1961-built P&B is somewhat forbidding, facing the world with a poker-face of double-bay garage, gated walkway, and plank fencing that appears to barely contain a thick thatch of privacy hedge.

Inside, the house blossoms into a somewhat stark exercise in tonal contrast. Floors are completed with large blocks of tile, an earthy complement to all the drama, and the renovations have of course brought optional glass walls into the picture. Material choice was an essential element of the revision, and there’s a whole lotta Calacatta Suprema marble to dress things up.

Outside the four-bedroom house, an outdoor living area with a fire feature lounge, dining area, pool, spa and sundeck, outdoor kitchen and bar, and a small fruit orchard comprise the grounds.

Shlesinger’s upcoming films include The Opening Act, which also stars Jimmy O. Yang, Cedric the Entertainer, Bill Burr, Ken Jeong, and Russell Peters.
