John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are back in the real estate news. The couple, who saw their $24 million Beverly Hills listing receive an offer in no time, liked this modernist enough to lease it, according to Variety. The property, also in the 90210, was listed for just under $20 million when it appeared on the open market last year but did not sell.

The home is a new build. The .31-acre lot had previously been occupied by a 1946-built three-bedroom Spanish-inflected single-floor home, with a detached garage and studio in back. It sold in 2015 for $5.25 million.

The house that now stands on the lot was designed by a notable Los Angeles-based firm. The interiors feature a modern open-style layout. Competing textures and patterns are visible throughout the home, LED accent lighting is used liberally, and materials are superb, but the spirit of the living style is simplicity. The master bedroom is a spectacularly bright and uncluttered space, with light, air and a broad bank of retractable glass.
