Entertainment exec Jason Blum—who founded horror flick-turned-arthouse-specialty production company Blumhouse Productions in 2000—put his high-rise condo in Los Angeles up for sale this summer for $6.995 million.

The unit is located in the Ritz-Carlton Residences at L.A. Live. Some of the property’s finer materials include the hardwood floors, which are unusually attractive, and the marble and tile used in the unit’s baths.

The 4,300 sq. ft. flat features a layout that is fairly stunning. The main living area is a massive, open space with steel-framed glass walls; the kitchen is quietly tucked away around a corner, which adds definition to the living area, and brings the city views that much nearer. The master bedroom places the same emphasis on an arresting conflation of private living space and city at large.

If his release schedule is to be believed, Blum is a very, very busy man. His recent releases include Fantasy Island, starring Michael Pena, Lucy Hale, and Jimmy O. Yang, The Invisible Man starring Elisabeth Moss, and You Should Have Left starring Kevin Bacon and Amanda Seyfried. His upcoming projects include Halloween Kills, starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Kyle Richards, an untitled slasher film starring Vince Vaughn, This Is The Night, starring Naomi Watts, Vengeance, starring B. J. Novak, Issa Rae, and Ashton Kutcher, and reboots of Dracula, Wolfman, and Spawn.
