A Los Angeles-area real estate developer has a property to sell. It’s a deusey, and priced accordingly, but it does come with a substantial discount. Initially priced at $135 million, its ask is now $95 million.

Designed to be a trophy estate in every conceivable way, the property boasts remarkable interior space, extraordinary—for Beverly Hills, anyway—exterior space, a list of amenities that excludes little, and a living style that borders on the palatial. A be-all-and-end-all house, with an overall design rooted in a lavish yet tasteful sensibility.

The home’s most compelling features include its full-wall optional glass on both upper and lower levels, which open up one whole side of the home to poolside indoor/outdoor living. It measures 38,000 square feet, enough to frequently establish breathtaking scale, and pack in numerous striking details. The chevron floor in the entertainment room is particularly appealing, and the double-height foyer soars.

Ah, but the amenities. A spa and massage room, a sports complex—with a boxing ring, no less, as well as various courts for various sports—a home theater, and a guest penthouse top the list. Accommodations extend to detached two-bedroom guesthouse, and a caretaker’s house.

The five acres of grounds allow for one of the more appealing luxuries in a property of this size: a long, romantically meandering driveway, in this case with an auxiliary, and both gated, and flanked by perfectly groomed hedges; a pair of lengthy preambles to emphasize the figurative distance between the estate and the rest of Los Angeles.

This isn’t Asher’s first foray in the stratosphere. In 2016, he sold a spec home in L.A. to billionaire Pistons owner Tom Gores for $100 million.
