This week, retired NBA star David West listed the home he owned during his stint with the Golden State Warriors. West purchased the property in 2017 for $3.55 million. He’s looking for a buyer with $3.675 million to call it home.
The house is located in a gated community, and was built in 2017. West and his family were apparently the first owners of the home.
The three-level home mixes period San Francisco details—namely, the grand rotunda porch—and modern architecture. Inside, it’s quite contemporary; angular, with strident lines and little ornament. The oak floors have been finished in matte walnut, the kitchen sports a large marble waterfall island, and the step-down living room boasts a floor-to-ceiling marble fireplace accent wall.
There are five bedrooms and six baths in the home’s 6,100 square feet. Outdoor living space is fairly abundant for such a tight lot. The porch that looks toward the Bay is one spot for enjoying the cool San Francisco nights; the rooftop deck is another.
West signed with the Warriors in 2016. The two-time NBA All-Star retired in 2018.
