Retired professional football player Michael Vick listed his 7,726 square foot modern traditional in Florida for sale this winter. The former quarterback is asking $2.399 million for the property. The asking price is very close to Vick’s 2018 purchase price of $2.8 million.
The six-bedroom, six-bath home is located in Plantation, a city just west of Fort Lauderdale. It was built in 2018, and Vick and his family were its first residents.
Interiors are neutral, spacious, and airy. The design sensibility is conventional, with luxurious overtones that include columns, glossy stone and hardwood floors, and an industrial-style staircase. The kitchen features a waterfall island and breakfast bar, custom cabinetry, a mosaic tile counter backsplash, and stainless fixtures.
Exterior space is another prime selling point of the home—the lot extends to well over an acre. A pool, lanai and summer kitchen are present and accounted for, and there is a guest house on the property.
Vick’s 13-year career included stints with the Falcons and the Eagles. He retired in 2017.
