February is the perfect month for thinking spring. Ducati’s helping cycle lovers to plan ahead for the warm weather to come: the company announced that they’ve expanded their model lineup for 2020 with a pair of new bikes.

The Scrambler Pro and the Scrambler Sport Pro both look extremely capable as road bikes and explorers, and each has been given a distinctive cosmetic treatment. The 1100 Pro boasts a graphic theme Ducati calls ‘Ocean Drive’; the Sport Pro receives a matte black finish with glossy ‘1100’ boldly printed on the gas tank. Both bikes also feature an X incorporated into the headlamp, a distinctive flourish and hat-tipping to scramblers of yore that sets the models apart.

Both bikes are outfitted with Ducati’s air-cooled 1,079cc L-twin engine, steel trellis frame, and aluminum subframe. The Sport Pro goes the extra mile with a dual pipe—contrasted with the Pro’s single—as well as Ohlins suspension, low-slung handlebars, and café racer-style mirrors.

Both bikes come with new tech, including a trio of performance modes—City, Journey and Active—as well as Ducati Traction Control and ABS cornering.

Pricing for the bikes begins at $13.5K. Look for them in dealerships this spring.
