Recent news from Porsche includes this enticing fact: the 718 Boxster T and 718 Cayman T—T for ‘touring’—will include American dealerships in their travels for the upcoming model year.

The performance-oriented duo look as attractive as ever—paragons of brevity and style, with the Boxster perhaps the prettiest roadster in current production in Europe. Standard on the two sports cars is a long list of features that includes Porsche’s PASM package—PASM is an acronym for ‘Porsche Active Suspension Management’—and PVT, or ‘Porsche Torque Vectoring’. And, yes, the Sport Chrono Package is also included as standard on the Boxster T and Cayman T for 2020.

The pair receives a 2L, 4-cylinder engine that produced 300-horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque, enough power to take both to 60 in 4.5 seconds. A 6-speed manual gearbox is standard, although a 7-speed PDK may be optioned. 20” Carrera wheels in Titanium Grey are standard, a nice touch. The Boxster receives a set of Agage Grey roll bars.

Inside, a GT steering wheel comes standard, as well as sport seats and track-oriented fittings. Special badging is, of course, included on both.

Pricing for the duo starts around $68K-$70K.
