Lightweight, tough, and boasting good looks that balance technical and playful, Richard Mille’s newest timepiece neatly marries automotive racetrack inspiration and masculine fashion.
The watch is called the RM 50-04 Tourbillon Split-Seconds Chronograph Kimi Räikkönen, and it’s the product of Richard Mille’s design sensibility and a collaboration with the legendary Alfa Romeo team driver, who has been professionally associated with the watchmaker since 2018.
The eye-catching colors—an homage to the Alfa C38 Kimi has raced to victory—and visible mechanics of the watch are matched by the durability of the craftsmanship: there are 600 layers of super-thin silicone in the finish. The watch’s tourbillon movement is built from titanium and carbon.
The RM 50-04 Tourbillon Split-Seconds Chronograph Kimi Räikkönen is limited to just 30 pieces, and priced at $1.1 million.
