Land Rover‘s Classic division recently showed off its upgrade packages for fans of the evergreen Defender. Defender 90 and 110 models built from 1994 to 2016 will be eligible for new specialty packages: upgrade kits that customize and optimize.

For many SUV purists, nothing beats a classic Defender’s simple, rugged looks and utilitarian chic. The upgrades are merely the icing on the cake.

The new packages were inspired by the limited-edition Defender Works V8—70th Edition. For example, customers who opt for the Defender Classic Works Upgrade kit will enjoy new 18-inch Sawtooth alloy wheels that appear on the 70th-anniversary model.

For the 2020 Defender, Land Rover introduced a special Defender Suspension Upgrade Kit; those with older models may also want to consider ponying up for the suspension improvements. Additionally, performance tires, and an engine upgrade are also available, so Defenders from 2012 onward can receive a boost of 39 horsepower.
