NHL star Joe Pavelski is looking to move on from San Jose, California, and the sooner the better. The center recently signed a $21-million contract with the Dallas Stars, so decamp for the Lone Star State he must.
And up for sale goes his Willow Glen home, with a price tag of $3.6 million.
This is a big move for the former San Jose Sharks player; Pavelski has spent the past 13 years living and playing in Northern California. And the house has a lot going for it. It dates to 2013, and spans some 4,400 square feet.
There are five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms in the contemporary Mediterranean-style house. The exterior features warm stucco and dark trim, and a tile roof. The interior features a nice blend of warm and cool influences. Mid-tone hardwood floors flow from the foyer past the formal dining room and formal living room with a fireplace. The primary gathering space is the open-concept family room, which is integrated with the gourmet kitchen.
In addition to boasting beautiful white cabinetry and top-of-the-line appliances, the kitchen features a large center island that connects to a built-in dining table. From the kitchen, future residents can head outside to the backyard, where a putting green, a lounge, an outdoor kitchen and bar, and a swimming pool with spa combine to form a comprehensively recreational outdoor living style.
