Armored cars are all the rage among VIPs, but the added weight can make the modified rides sluggish and ungainly on the road. The new AddArmor Audi RS7 proves that protection and speed aren’t strangers, though, putting a performance spin on a conflict-resistant conveyance.

AddArmor’s creation has earned the title of world’s fastest armored car. Since the armoring process only added 200 lbs to the vehicle’s overall weight, the RS7 is able to put the considerable power of its twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine to good use; drivers can still feel every thrill of the 760 hp and 800 lb-ft of torque available, compliments of an APR Plus Stage II upgrade. The car can sprint from zero to 60 mph in just 2.9 seconds, on its way to a top speed of 202 mph.

A special polycarbonate weave keeps the safety factor high and the weight down. This unique material paired with sturdy ballistic glass guarantees a European B4 level of protection. Drivers and passengers can travel safely and in comfort knowing the RS7 can withstand attacks from .44 magnum-wielding aggressors.

Available starting at $205,000, the AddArmor modded Audi RS7 also comes equipped with run-flat tires, pepper spray dispensers, and electric shock door handles.
