Swedish supercar brand Koenigsegg recently announced that it has already sold out of its $3-million Jesko.
The purebred racer was limited to just 125 examples; it was formally introduced last month in Geneva, and created quite a fuss. Apparently, the last 42 reservation spots for the Jesko were all taken during the five days following the vehicle’s debut at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show.
Koenigsegg’s designs are brilliantly realized and always limited in production; collectible fare indeed. And, while 125 examples may be a limited offering by any estimation, the Jesko actually represents the largest production run in Koenigsegg’s history.
For those 125 customers with $3 million to throw down for hypercar, though, there will be no warm springtime drives this year, though. Koenigsegg has announced that production isn’t scheduled to start until the end of 2020.
