Former San Diego Padres pitcher Trevor Hoffman has found a buyer with $3.75 million to spend on his Rancho Santa Fe home.

The MLB Hall-of-Famer picked up the San Diego-area property in 2002 for $2.685 million. The home is located in the Fairbanks Ranch gated community, and looks like it served as a much-needed retreat from the pressures of a career as a professional athlete.

Set on an acre and a half, the 8,295-square-foot home contains six bedrooms. High-end amenities include a wine cellar, a billiard room with a bar, a home theater, and a home gym.

Living space naturally extends outdoors with plenty of patio space, a fire pit, a barbecue area, and a terrace. Of course, there’s also the tennis court, batting cage, a swimming pool with a rockslide and spa for some fun in the sun, and a dedicated apartment with a private entry and a kitchenette that can serve as a guest accommodation or maid’s quarters.
