Iconic French fashion brand Louis Vuitton recently introduced its stylish second-gen smartwatch. The Tambour Horizon has seen improvements in the 18 months since it was introduced. The smartwatch market may be saturated, but no other model available is going to look this cool.
After posting plenty of titillating hints at the watch’s redesign, the Tambour Horizon smartwatch was unveiled this month, immediately reasserting itself anew as the bright, charming entry among current options. Ultra-chic and stylish, the smartwatch sets itself apart from the competition with its sleek, circular face that suggests the traditional and also subverts it.
Beautiful watch details like a polished steel crown and a black sapphire glass caseback accented with the LV logo also add to the updated design; Vuitton never leaves out the luxe, they just sublimate it a little. Customers looking for even more sparkle can opt for the Pure White & Diamonds model complete with 34 diamonds. There’s a bit less sublimation involved in that level of luxe, bien sur.
Aside from enhancing their looks, wearers can expect the Tambour Horizon to deliver all the tech features a millennial could desire; Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 3100 processor is the silicon engine inside this timepiece. Once again, customers will find that the device is run by Google’s Wear OS operating system.
Louis Vuitton’s second-generation Tambour Horizon is available starting at $2,550, for the Monogram Eclipse version. If you want the top-tier Pure White model, though, you’ll have to pony up $4,450.
