Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford recently saw his Scottsdale, Arizona, mansion into contract for $1.5 million.

Unfortunately, Crawford is letting the home go at a loss; he paid $1.6 million for the property in 2016. He originally listed the home for $1.625 million, but didn’t find a buyer until after a price reduction.

The five-bedroom house features an exterior dominated by a stone-accented entry. The interiors spans 5,477 square feet; the main living space is a combination kitchen, dining, and living area that features a fireplace, a segmented tray ceiling, a wet bar, and a bay window. The grandiose exterior impression carries through to the living style, which is balanced by a fair amount of warmth.

The kitchen provides plenty of space to cook or gather with a large center island. It’s been completely updated with stainless steel appliances and slab granite, and its dining nook flows into a family room with a fireplace. The master suite gets a fireplace as well as a bay window, and opens onto the patio via a glass door.

Designed with entertaining in mind, the backyard offers a large patio, an outdoor eating area with a built-in barbecue, and a fireplace. An in-ground trampoline, sport court, and swimming pool and spa tackle recreation and fitness.
