Retired MLB All-Star Wally Joyner is hoping to hit a home run with the sale of his Utah home. For Joyner, a real-estate home run is defined as $7.9 million.

Joyner picked up the 40-acre equestrian property in 2002 following his retirement from the MLB. The ranch is located about an hour outside of Salt Lake City.

The residence is certainly unique. The 7,300-square-foot home is actually integrated into a much larger horse barn. In fact, all three bedrooms feature windows that look into the indoor riding arena. This is a fairly dedicated equestrian estate, and is ideal for serious hobbyists and professionals.

Still, the residence sneaks in a few creature comforts, and a bit of dazzling scale. A grand two-story central living room with a statement-making stacked stone fireplace provides an ideal venue for evening R&R. Further inside are a sprawling kitchen and nearby dining room.

The home also features like dark hardwood floors, dark wood cabinetry, and truly massive bedrooms. There is also an entertainment room perfect for challenging friends to a round of pool.

Joyner’s wife and four daughters all competitively ride horses, so the property is perfectly equipped for another equestrian-loving family. The options for training are nearly endless thanks to 22 heated indoor stalls, 11 outdoor stalls, an 18,600-square-foot indoor riding arena, a 20,000-square-foot outdoor arena, a tack room, and more.
