Charlie Sheen’s house in Beverly Hills may or may not still be for rent at $43K per month, but a recent cut to the purchase price has it back in the real estate news. Now asking $8,999,999—a charm price if ever there was one—the home’s attitude on the mid-tier Los Angeles real estate market is turning more aggressive since it first hit the open market early this spring. Sheen initially priced it at $10 million.
The property listing represents the third of Sheen’s homes in Beverly Hills to be offered for sale in the past, well, two and a half years. Sheen sold two of the homes in the spring and summer of 2016, with one fetching $6.6 million, and the other going for $5.4 million.
This last of the actor’s Beverly Hills residences—situated on Aubrey Road—has proved a little harder to move. This new price may help it along.
The home is stylized, but mainly only from the exterior; columns and trappings of period Italian architecture abound. Inside, though, things are much more down to earth, with a relaxed living style that focuses on creature comforts. The master suite is a self-contained sanctuary, with a dumbwaiter to spirit food up from the kitchen, a private screening room, a wet bar, a private living room, and a massive master bath.
Sheen’s recent roles include last year’s ‘9/11’; he also appeared in the Comedy Central series ‘Typical Rick.’
