Peter Lassally has sold the Malibu beach house he listed last year. The retired produced accepted an offer of $6.325 million for the modern home.

Set right against a hilly Malibu cliff right on the water, the Frank Gehry-designed home and property makes for an idyllic getaway. Its classic features include brick and exposed beams, fireplaces and walls of glass, and it is positioned for ocean views from virtually every room.

Outside, there are several spacious patios for the ultimate in indoor-outdoor living and stairs leading straight to the beach. The property’s location is quite private, giving the abundant outdoor living space a decidedly secluded feel.

Lassally survived a Nazi concentration camp and immigrated to the United States before starting his long, successful career with NBC. His production credits include iconic late night shows like “The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson” and “Late Night with David Letterman,” and he became known as a guru to up-and-coming hosts during his years at the network.
