Stray Cats’ Lee Rocker Takes $8.1M for Laguna Beach Abode

Bassist Lee Rocker of the Stray Cats finally struck the right chord, and sold his Laguna Beach home for $8.1 million.

The musician and his wife, fashion designer Deborah Drucker, purchased the Moroccan-inflected Southern California house for $1.075 million two decades ago. Even though they sold the home for $2.4 million less than they originally listed it for last year, it’s safe to say the couple earned a solid return on their investment.

The 6,800-square-foot home is located in Emerald Bay, and contains six bedrooms and seven baths. The most remarkable of those rooms is the expansive master suite complete with a wall of arched windows, a terrace, a sitting area, and a tiled fireplace.

But the whole house is heavily stylized, and has a coolly extravagant feel. It begins with a grand foyer, double staircase, and massive Moroccan-style pendant, and progresses from there. The Moroccan star is the central motif.

Downstairs, one of the standout spaces is the wood-beamed living room accented with a custom fireplace. However, residents and guests alike will benefit from the luxurious dining room and the connected gourmet kitchen.

The property exterior features an outdoor kitchen, a sauna, and a swimming pool and spa.
