Billionaire Russell Weiner Drops the Ask on Beverly Hills Manse From $49M to $35M

Energy-drink king Russell Weiner’s Beverly Hills estate is back on the market. The price tag on this particular home has wavered a bit since it first surfaced on the market in early 2017; Weiner initially priced it at $45 million, but the following summer raised the price to $49 million. The property is now offered at a modified—and slightly more aggressive—price: $35 million.

Which still means a significant return for Mr. Weiner, if the Rockstar energy drink co-founder can negotiate a sale near to the asking price; he picked up the estate in 2015 for $19 million.

The home was owned by Madonna for about a decade; the material girl sold it in 2013. It has much to commend it to the deep-pocketed and high-profile buyer. The 9-bed, 14-bath French country-style home is big, bright and fairly tasteful, and the lot is large enough to afford an unusual level of privacy, even for Beverly Park.

Amenities and material details are exhaustive: plentiful slab marble, a large home theater with tiered seating, smart tech, seven fireplaces, a sizeable home fitness center, and two wet bars with lounge areas are highlights of the home. The property exterior squeezes in a tennis court, pool and sunlounge, a guesthouse, and a pool house. There are over 12,000 square feet of living space in all, nestled amid 1.14 acres of lawns, gardens and rare plantings.

Mr. Weiner founded Rockstar in 1998.
