Actress Melissa McCarthy is looking for a long-term tenant for her Los Angeles-area home for $10,000 a month.

Ms. McCarthy paid $780,000 for her Toluca Lake home back in 2009. The updated bungalow boasts three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a unique personality all its own.

It dates to the 1940’s, and is absolutely charming thanks to professional styling marked by bold prints like yellow floral wallpaper. However, classic features like brown hardwood floors, wainscoting, and a formal living room with a marble fireplace offer the substance of period feel, giving it a nice context.

One of the most appealing spaces in the home is the 1930s-style kitchen; white subway tile backsplashes, white cabinetry, black countertops, and expansive windows opening to the backyard distinguish the room. The home also features a dedicated office space.
