Swedish pro golfer Henrik Stenson recently said goodbye to his Florida, home, accepting a $1.05 million offer to see the property into the Orlando sunset.
The 2007-built contemporary is situated in the Lake Nona Golf & Country Club, spans 3,384 square feet, and boasts Mediterranean styling cues like arched doorways and oak hardwood floors.
Crown moldings throughout the interiors add a touch of classic styling, while additions like high-end appliances and a surround-sound system offer modern comfort. Potential buyers will likely be drawn to the residence’s central living spaces, including an open-concept gourmet kitchen and dining room, and a cozy living room with a fireplace.
Multipurpose spaces include a loft and game room, and an entertainment/media room with fairly hypnotic wallpaper; the indoor swimming pool and spa in the semi-solarium is very appealing. Dual walk-in closets, a soaking tub, and French doors leading out to the courtyard make the master suite an oasis of its own.
The property’s exterior amenities are represented well, with covered patio space, an outdoor kitchen, and an arcade porch in the rear that surveys a nice stretch of lawn.
Stenson is the first Swedish male PGA tour winner, and he’s won many tournaments. He also took home a silver medal at the Rio de Janiero Summer Olympics.
