Silver-screen director Martin Campbell has relisted his Pacific Palisades mansion, this time around for $9.5 million.

The “Green Lantern” director and his wife, actress Sol E. Romero, originally listed the Los Angeles-area property for $10.5 million about 1.5 years ago. Following a significant price reduction, it’s likely Campbell will see more interest in the 10,632-square-foot residence. Campell paid $7.929 million for the home about eight years ago, so he could still make quite the return on his investment.

The six-bedroom home is was designed by architect William Hefner. Interiors are the work of Kazuko Hoshino. 

Classic elements like dark wood floors meet with European inspiration. Wrought-iron accents and stone tile in the foyer, limestone fireplaces, and carved wood give the home a classically formal sensibility. The living room follows suit, and features a carved-wood wet bar.

A formal dining room and a large kitchen decked out with granite countertops and high-end appliances make entertaining easy. However, it’s likely guests will want to congregate outdoors on the stone terrace, where a built-in barbecue and stone fireplace make the most of the location.

The New Zealand-born director has a number of directing credits, including “Casino Royale,” “The Foreigner,” and the BBC-produced miniseries “Edge of Darkness” and its 2005 film-version remake.
