Actress Izabella Scorupco, best known as the Bond Girl from “GoldenEye,” recently put her Glendale home on the market for $1.245 million.

The house is situated in the Rancho area near Griffith Park, and was built in 1939. Period accents like bright tile work and a red tile roof give the Spanish-style charmer a semi-rustic personality, and renovations have modernized a bit: the matte-finished distressed plank floors look both period and contemporary, and the kitchen is quite urbane.

Spanning 2,442 square feet, the four-bedroom home boasts more than one surprise: highlights include pleasingly eccentric lines, original timber and iron, and nook-and-cranny alcove-like spaces. The cozy feel of the finished concrete fireplace in the family room brings contemporary design into the picture in no uncertain terms.

In addition to a detached guesthouse complete with its own courtyard, the property incorporates a large outdoor lounge space with a brick-rimmed pool; the brick acts as a nice counterpoint to the tile roof.

Scorupco played Natalya Simonova in the 1995 James Bond flick. She also appeared in features “Vertical Limit,” “Exorcist: The Beginning,” and “Sleepwalker.”
