In 2011, actor and motorcycle enthusiast Keanu Reeves co-founded Arch Motorcycle with designer Gard Hollinger; the idea was to build bikes so custom they’d be individually tailored to their owners, and to build bikes for both North American and European markets. The idea seems to be catching on, and to prove it we’ll take a quick look at the company’s most ambitious model, the Method 143.
Unveiled just after the introduction of the $80K KRGT-1 bike, the Method 143 is Arch’s most powerful offering to date. The limited-edition luxury bike boasts an incredible, first-of-its-kind carbon-fiber MonoCell chassis with a fuel cell built directly into the frame. The front suspension is an Arch development using Ohlins forks; Ohlins rear shocks stabilize the back. ISR Monoblocs are front and rear brakes.
The 143’s engine is an S&S Cycle V-Twin. Although exact stats haven’t been revealed, there’s no doubt the 143 cubic-inch powerhouse will deliver in the horsepower and torque department. The engine is paired with a MotoGP-style titanium exhaust with carbon-fiber skin.
But, if you’re smitten with the model, you’ll have to pony up fast.Unfortunately, only 23 examples of the sleek and powerful Method 143 will be built, and pricing has yet to be revealed.
